A festival always means a considerable ecological footprint. We go to great lengths to counter this as best we can, but we also know that we are not perfect. That's why we've had a sustainability officer on the team since this year.
You too can make a contribution to a sustainable festival with these alternative actions:
- Please leave nothing behind and take your camping equipment back home with you.
- Use the garbage bags provided and take your garbage to the return stations before you leave.
- Use the waste garbage cans on the festival site.
- Peeing in the wild harms the soil, plants and animals - please use the fixed and mobile toilets on site.
- Save water and keep your shower time short.
- Avoid disposable tableware if possible.
- Use (pocket) ashtrays and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- If you still have space in the car, offer it to the others.
- Take advantage of our eco loo offers.
