Community & Belonging
Community doesn’t just happen – it needs spaces where we can meet, be heard, and actively participate. In a time when we often live alongside each other rather than together, our festival aims to create a space for connection.
In 2025, Bucht der Träumer* is guided by the twin stars of community and connection – Community & Belonging.
With our festival, we aim to create a portal for counter-narratives to the growing isolation and hyper-individualization of society. The past decade has been shaped by a drive for freedom, uniqueness, and liberation from constraints and traditions. Now that we've arrived here, we realize that independence alone does not bring happiness. We feel a deep longing to belong – just as we are, with all our edges and imperfections.
You probably know this longing too — if, in recent years, you've followed the call to increase your own market value, whether in dating, your career, or your creative work. If you feel that meetups with friends have become fewer. Or if you carry the feeling around with you of never being enough. And you are not alone in this!
That’s why, at Bucht der Träumer* 2025, we want to consciously ask the question: What does it take to truly bring the concepts of community and belonging to life?
Workshops & Werktstätten der Begegnungen
What is necessary for us to feel connected? How do communities form, and what holds them together even when there’s friction? How do we deal with community members who intentionally or unintentionally violate the group’s values? How can we stay united even when conflict divides us? What kinds of spaces are needed for a community to endure? What does it mean to set aside the ego and take responsibility for the collective? What forces drive isolation, and how can we counter them?
Unser Workshopspace Team ist bereits seit Monaten in Recherchen und Debatten vertieft, um das Thema spannend, kontrovers und interaktiv aus allen Perspektiven zu beleuchten und für Herz, Hirn und Sinne erfahrbar zu machen. In diesem Jahr wird es zum ersten Mal zwischen Neuro Dive|rs und Cuddle Poodle ein Schwarzes Brett geben, über das ihr Kontakte knüpfen könnt.
Of course, we don’t have all the answers yet, but we look forward to searching together with you. We believe in the power of togetherness. In spontaneous encounters that can grow into friendships, in deep conversations under the open sky, and in exuberant dances among old and new friends. Community is something that is not finished or given to us — it is something we create together.
