FAQS

  • What Destinations Do You Offer?

All online tickets are personalized. Only if the name on the ticket matches yours will you be admitted to the festival! You can assume that the majority of offers via Facebook, eBay classifieds, Craigslist etc. are fraudulent in nature.

As a general rule, don't transfer money to people you don't know! Even if they have a harmless profile photo.

    Attention: Ticket scammers!

Helenesee remains closed due to the risk of shoreline erosion, but we have some refreshing news! On the eastern shore of Helenesee, a good bit east of the grounds, a roughly 350-meter stretch has been opened up for swimming. There are also a few swimming spots towards Katjasee behind the Mirage. On the festival grounds, all kinds of refreshment options like the Human Car Wash and the outdoor showers at Schweißperle will also keep you cool.

Unfortunately, Bucht der Träumer* is only partially accessible. For example, not all stages can be reached by wheelchair, and the number of accessible toilets on site is limited.

If you have specific questions, suggestions, or accessibility needs, please don't hesitate to get in touch at inklusion@bucht-der-traeumer.de. We're always happy to explore together how we can make the festival experience more accessible for everyone.

Glass is prohibited throughout Lake Helene. Glass bottles are also not allowed at the campsite. We rely on your own discretion. We would like to reduce the amount of glass bottles and other glass containers to a minimum.

Please avoid breaking glass at all costs! Anyone who would like to walk and dance barefoot should be able to do so without worrying. For this reason, glass is prohibited within the festival grounds. Please fill your drinks into shatterproof bottles or cups before entering the festival area.

  • What Destinations Do You Offer?

The Bay of Dreamers* Festival is a festival for adults aged 21 and over. Teenagers and young adults between the ages of 13 and 20 are not permitted to enter the festival grounds.

Since 2023, and in agreement with the local Youth Welfare Office, the following regulation applies to children aged 0–12:
Children may stay in the northern part of the festival grounds (known as Lumina) during the daytime, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

You'll also find our workshop spaces, the live stage, the food court, and our wellness area, Schweissperle, in Lumina—offering plenty of opportunities for parents to relax and recharge as well. The roller disco is also just around the corner.

Please note: Unfortunately, there will be no rental skates for children this year, so if your little ones are keen to join the roller disco, please remember to bring their own roller skates.

Access to the large rave enclosure (called Umbria) in the south will continue to be denied to the small pens!

We expect a clear commitment to these rules from the accompanying adults and react consistently if there is a lack of the necessary sense of responsibility.

A festival always means a considerable ecological footprint. We go to great lengths to counter this as best we can, but we also know that we are not perfect. That's why we've had a sustainability officer on the team since this year.

You too can make a contribution to a sustainable festival with these alternative actions:

    • Please leave nothing behind and take your camping equipment back home with you.
    • Use the garbage bags provided and take your garbage to the return stations before you leave.
    • Use the waste garbage cans on the festival site.
    • Peeing in the wild harms the soil, plants and animals - please use the fixed and mobile toilets on site.
    • Save water and keep your shower time short.
    • Avoid disposable tableware if possible.
    • Use (pocket) ashtrays and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
    • If you still have space in the car, offer it to the others.
    • Take advantage of our eco loo offers.

From now on, you can also find a detailed explanation of our goals for this year and the coming years on our website.

Together we can ensure that we leave smaller and smaller footprints!

  • What Destinations Do You Offer?

We love your colorful, glowing rave sticks and jellyfish! They make the dancefloor more beautiful and help wanderers find their crew again. But beyond a certain size, they can become dangerous. Fire or light installations may be disrupted, or they can even become a real fire hazard. If spikes are driven into the ground, they could hit power cables. To make sure you can still bring your creative favorites, we have a few simple rules this year:

    • Max height: 3 meters
    • No sharp tips at the bottom
    • When illuminated: Easy way to dim or turn them off (when requested)
    • On the Waldtraut floor, please place them in the jellyfish cloakroom – the mapping team thanks you from the bottom of their hearts!

If the rules aren’t followed, rave sticks will have to stay at the campsite – or our security crew will shorten them on the spot. Save yourself the hassle at the entrance and stick to the guidelines, so we can all dance together safely and in full color!

    Safer Space

  • What Destinations Do You Offer?

Is there a safety concept for Bucht der Träumer*?

Answer: Yes. Bucht der Träumer* has a comprehensive safety concept that is developed together with a professional security company and reviewed and approved by the relevant authorities (including the public order office, police, fire brigade, and emergency medical services). For an event of this size, this is a legal requirement.

It includes, among other things, trained security staff on site around the clock, access controls, emergency and evacuation plans, and close coordination with emergency services and the relevant authorities. After each festival, we evaluate our experiences and continuously refine the concept for the following year.

For security reasons, we deliberately do not publish operational details of the concept. This is standard practice for events of this size and helps protect everyone involved. We are also aware that absolute safety can never be guaranteed when we choose to come together freely and share a space.

That's exactly why thorough preparation is so important to us. Throughout the festival, our security team and the Info Point are always available if you need assistance or have any concerns.

The resale of the Bay of Dreamers* tickets takes place exclusively via the official Tixforgigs website.

If you can't come to the festival after all, you can offer your ticket there and set the resale price yourself (within +/- €10 of the original price). There is also the option of passing the ticket on to a specific person. When setting up the resale, you can choose between “Public” and “Private”. If you choose “Private”, the offer will not appear in the store. Instead, a link is generated which you can then forward to the person in question. This person can then use the link to purchase your ticket via the platform.

If you choose “Public”, the ticket will reappear in the store at Tixforgigs.com. The new buyer* name is automatically entered during the purchase, after which the old ticket loses its validity.

Here's a guide to setting up the resale. For all other questions about ticketing, please contact support@tixforgigs.com directly
