Our SupportA Base has officially opened its doors for applications! 

Together with Kulturmuschel e.V., we’re looking for engaged people who are excited to contribute to our subcultural bubble, with plenty of fun along the way.

Whether you’re a power drill juggler or a sustainability enthusiast, there’s space for everyone who wants to be part of our community and get actively involved.

As a thank you for your voluntary support, you’ll receive free entry to the festival.

Copywriter (Freelance) – Programme Booklet & Creative Festival Copy

For Bucht der Träumer*, we're looking for a freelance copywriter to support us with our festival program booklet at short notice – with the opportunity to collaborate on creative festival content in the future, including website copy, newsletters, social media and storytelling.

What you’ll do

Your main focus will be the festival program booklet: editing and refining texts, giving them a consistent voice, and creatively expanding them where needed. Depending on timing and fit, the role may also include creative writing for festival communications.

Typical tasks (as needed):

  • Editorial work / polishing programme booklet texts (shortening, smoothing, structure, tone of voice)
  • Refining language to match our brand voice (and potentially helping evolve it)
  • Optional: Creative copy for website/newsletter/posts (e.g., more playful formats, teasers, storytelling)

Who We're Looking For
We're not looking for standard SEO copy. We're looking for someone who can write creatively, has a strong sense of rhythm and voice, and enjoys capturing and shaping a distinctive tone.

You’re a great fit if you…

  • have a strong background in creative writing with an excellent feel for tone of voice
  • quickly understand a project/world and turn that into language
  • communicate clearly, work reliably, and handle feedback well
  • have short-notice capacity (starting now)

Terms

  • Start: Immediately
  • Pay: freelance / fee-based (details to be discussed)
  • Scope: Flexible, depending on demand (with an immediate focus on the festival program booklet, and potentially additional writing projects afterwards)
  • Working arrangement: Remote possible, with coordination taking place digitally

Application (with a short test task)

  3. Your rate (hourly or project fee — whatever you prefer)
  4. Mini Task (Application Exercise): Choose two of the following tasks and write short text samples in the style of Bucht der Träumer*:

A) Programme booklet teaser (approx. 600–900 characters)

Topic: "Welcome / What Our Festival Is All About" – poetic, yet clear.

B) Website teaser (approx. 600–900 characters)

Topic: "What Awaits You at Bucht der Träumer*" – light, playful and inviting.

C) Heat tips newsletter (approx. 600–900 characters)

Topic: “What you can do to protect yourself from heat and dust”

(No need for perfection — we mainly want to see voice, tone, and approach.)

We're still looking for a team of 15–20 people who'd love to become our sales crew for the kiosk! 🎪

Der Kiosk ist ein wichtiger Treffpunkt im Community Space, für den wir uns eine engagierte Crew mit guter Energie wünschen, die uns mit Freude mit den Essentials wie Süßigkeiten und allem anderen Lebensnotwendigen versorgen möchte. Wenn über den Verkauf hinaus Lust besteht, sich noch weiter einzubringen, können wir gerne darüber sprechen.

Idealerweise begleitet euer Team den Kiosk vom Aufbau über die Festivaltage bis zum Abbau.

When & where:

  • Aug 1–12 (Setup): 2–3 people 2–3 people
  • Aug 13–17 (Festival): 15–16 people in continuous shift rotation
  • Aug 18–21 (Teardown): 2–3 people

What we offer:

  • During setup and teardown: a daily flat rate of €80 (team members) or €100 (leads)
  • For leads, additionally: a flat rate of €40 + €0.60 per hour worked by your team during the festival, for preparation and follow-up
  • During the festival there are two roles:
    • Gastro SupportA: 2 shifts of 8 hours, one meal per shift, car access possible
    • Staff: 3 shifts of 8 hours, €14/hour, tips possible, one meal per shift, car access possible, camper ticket subject to availability (let us know if you need one — we'll try to make it happen for everyone, but can't make promises

Looking for Paid Support in Registration & Accreditation

Do you want to be part of a festival behind the scenes? We’re looking for support for our accreditation team! 🎪


For Bucht der Träumer* 2026, we're looking for an organized and reliable person to support us through the busy registration period from early/mid July until mid August.

What you'll do: You'll help ensure that everyone, from construction crew and artists to bar staff, receives their accreditation smoothly. This includes maintaining data, keeping track of registrations, answering inquiries, and lending a hand once things kick off on site.

What we're looking for:

  • Confident working with digital tools. You enjoy structured computer-based work, quickly find your way around new software, and can keep a clear overview even when dealing with large and complex spreadsheets.
  • A careful and independent way of working.
  • Enthusiasm for a friendly team and the special atmosphere around the festival.

When & where:

  • Flexible in July, remote or at our office, whatever works best for you.
  • From August 6th at the latest, we need you on-site at our festival grounds at Helenesee.

Pflichtpraktikum im Bereich Festivalorganisation bei der Bucht der Träumer* 2026

Do you want to set sail with us and experience what really happens behind the scenes of a music and culture festival? Then come aboard! We’re looking for a dedicated intern to join our festival team as part of a mandatory university internship, navigating with us through the waves of planning, organization, and implementation.

Period: March – May & on-site from August OR June – August

Placet: Berlin Treptow Köpenick (Office) / Festival Site Helenesee / Remote

Duration: 8 – 12 weeks with flexible working hours by arrangement

Your Tasks

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of the festival
  • Contributing to production, booking, communications, and social media tasks
  • Communication with artists, projects, and partners
  • Conducting research and preparing presentations, schedules, and timelines
  • On-site support during festival production (August 3–24)

Not all tasks take place at the same time. The specific focus will be defined together depending on the period, prior experience, and current needs.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

  • Enrolled student (mandatory internship as required by university regulations)
  • First-hand experience with music and/or cultural events
  • Communication talent & social media skills
  • Reliable & creative thinker
  • Team spirit, initiative, and flexibility
  • Good knowledge of common MS Office applications and similar tools, and ideally some initial experience with tools such as Canva and Slack
  • Willingness to lend a hand during the festival phase, including late hours and weekends
  • Bonus: Driving license category B or higher
