Through the clubbing energy Goldie brings into the workshop, participants experience body sensations and connect to their essence through whacking aesthetic and technique – glimpsing freedom through senses and body in relation to the music. The process explores vulnerability, embracing it as part of growth. Rooted in whacking culture, this workshop transmits freedom, self-expression and empowerment, supported by group dynamic and shared energy.

Bio
Goldie is a multidisciplinary artist, dancer and researcher whose practice intertwines movement, critical reflection and visual media, producing knowledge from Black interiorities. Drawing expressive force from whacking and punking, influenced by jazz, soul and funk, she has performed at Les Nuits de Fourvière (Lyon) and Le Carreau du Temple (Paris).
