Raxa

Are you ready for Raxa to open the Cuddle Poodle? This performance seamlessly blends elements of drag and circus into a captivating vertical dance, serving as the opening act for what some call the festival's best-kept secret: the Cuddle Poodle. In her work, Raxa explores profound themes surrounding identity—such as queerness, masculinity, and authenticity—as well as the intricate relationship between humans and nature, ultimately deconstructing the binary juxtapositions between them. "Her work is often explicitly political and deeply tied to her activism; in her drag, she masterfully combines dance, theater, circus, and stripping." We are absolutely thrilled to have her premiere at Bucht this year!
