The flocks of starlings returning to us across the wide sea announce it: spring is near. The first rays of sunshine chase the frost from our deck planks and warm our hearts, filling us with fresh drive as we look ahead to the coming months. Soon, the air will be thick with the scent of blossoms – and isn’t that already a faint song the wind is carrying our way? The time of winter slumber is over!

Community Story Wettbewerb:
Where does your heart feel at home?
This year, we’re exploring the question of what community means to us in times of hyper-individualism, and we invite you to share your stories with us!
You have complete creative freedom, the only thing that matters is that you share your story (or poem?) with us by May 30th as a PDF, no longer than 2-3 pages to redaktion@bucht-der-traeumer.de .
The best stories will be shared on festival Sunday at the Neurodive|rs The best stories will be presented on festival Sunday – and we’ll be handing out a few small and big thank-yous for all the texts that make it to the stage (including a festival ticket for Bucht der Träumer* 2026)!
Here are a few questions to inspire you: In which community do you feel at home? What does it mean to you, and what makes it special? Is there a community that lives on in your heart, even though it no longer exists in the same way?

Circus Mond is building a Circus Garden!
We’re thrilled that Circus Mond will be setting up its colorful tent at Lake Helenesee for the third year in a row – ready for some mind-blowing spectacles!
The rest of the year, the cultural project is based at Greife, one of the last subcultural spaces in Berlin, where people can freely express themselves and experience true community.
Now, in the shadow of the circus tent, a garden will be created – a place where both plants and ideas can grow.
To bring this vision to life, the project is gathering support on Startnext. Anyone who wants to help make this dream a reality can look forward to not only a ton of karma points, but also some crazy thank-yous! Our newsletter team already ordered a pair of stylish circus socks!
Over & Out – We’ll be seeing you on the high seas very soon!
Sincerely, Bucht der Träumer*
